Both founders are endurance athletes and 100-mile trail runners.

Why did Indy Outfitters build its own ice bandana?

As 100-mile trail runners, we spent years training, racing, and recovering in extreme heat. We tried cooling towels, neck wraps, and ice bandanas from a variety of brands, but we were consistently disappointed by the results.

Cooling performance was often short-lived. Fit was poor. Capacity was limited. Many products shifted, bounced, or became uncomfortable during extended use.

We believed a better ice bandana was possible, so we built one.
